Pathibhara Devi Temple, located in the Taplejung district of Nepal, is a popular pilgrimage site with stunning views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and the Kanchenjunga Himalayas range. The temple is sacred to Limbus and is believed to be a place of power and purity. The trek takes about 4–5 hours and passes through lush forests, picturesque landscapes, and traditional villages. After a spiritually uplifting time, the trek begins back to the base. Returning to Kathmandu, the journey can be completed by either taking a return flight or combining road and air travel. After an early breakfast, we will follow the road all the way to Birtamod which usually takes 11 hours of driving. Travel has two options, if the traveler wants to by air from Kathmandu to Badarpur, the trip will be easier and more comfortable. We will stay in a hotel overnight.
In the morning, we will start our drive and sightseeing to Ilam. Ilam is famous for its rolling hills and beautiful tea plantations along the road towards Phungling (the district headquarters of Taplejung) via Pachthar District. After a short rest, we will continue our drive to Phedi, where we will stay overnight.
In the morning we will take a short trek upward the hill of Upper Phedi to Pathibhara temple. where we will visit a small Temple before continuing through the forest. we will see animals and birds on the way to Pathibhara Temple. We will reach the Pathibhara temple located at the top of the hill then see the third highest mountain in the world Mt.Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Everest, and more Himalayas range and some parts of Sikkim, India from the top of the Pathibhara peaks. Pathibhara Temple is firmly believed to fulfill your wishes. So be sure to make your wishes to Pathibhara temple before walking down to Suketar airport.
In the morning, flight to Kathmandu from Skater or we begin our drive to Birtamod, having breakfast along the way. After arriving in Birtamod, we wait for the night bus which we will take to Kathmandu or by flight from Badhapur to Kathmandu.
