New Trekking Route and Permit Fee of Nepal 2023

Nepal is famous for its stunning Himalayan landscapes and offers several popular trekking routes. The most popular trekking routes in Nepal include the Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Kanchenjunga Base Camp Trek, Makalu Base Camp Trek, Lumba Sumba Pass Trek, Langtang Valley Trek, and Manaslu Circuit Trek, among others. Each trekking route has its own unique features and highlights.

Trekking permits are required for most trekking areas in Nepal. The permits help to regulate trekking activities and ensure the safety and security of trekkers. The permit fees vary depending on the region and the duration of the trek. Here are some of the common trekking permits and Costs in Nepal:

1. Upper Mustang:-

Lomanthang Rural Municipality (All areas of ward no. 1 to 5)

Lo-Ghekar Damodarkunda Rural Municipality (All areas of ward no. 1 to 5)

Baragung Muktichetra Rural Municipality (All areas of ward no. 3 and Satang Village of ward no.5)

2. Upper Dolpa:-

Dolpo Buddha Rural Municipality (All areas of wards no. 4 to 6)

Shey Phoksundo Rural Municipality (All areas of ward no. 1 to 7)

Charka Tangsong Rural Municipality (All areas of ward no. 1 to 6)

3.Gorkha Manaslu Area:-

4. Humla:-

Note: - In the case of Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpa Region if the royalty paid for the mountain expedition is less than the fee for the trekking permit then the difference amount should be paid.
